The Brand: Hanaduri, a craft and design studio, was started by twin sisters in South Korea. The studio focuses on crafting a variety of handmade products that are reinterpreted with bold and unique graphic styles inspired by nature, culture and everyday life. Hanji book, one of Hanaduri’s product lines, consists of hanji paper products including notebooks made and bound by a small husband and wife team bindery.

Description: Hanji, traditional Korean paper, comes from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. It is very strong and smooth. The notebooks are stitched together with perfect, layflat bindings and an open spine. Regardless of what page you are on, the books lay naturally flat. As Hanaduri says, “Hanji Books can be used for a long time, filled with new ideas, old memories, daily life and imagination—with pencils, pens and brushes.”
