The Brand: DUX, established in 1908, is the oldest German manufacturer for high quality pencil sharpeners. They are based in Geretsried, Bavaria as they have been since day one. DUX is using the same processes they developed over the decades to make the products they offer. We stock their sharpeners time and time again and have yet to see a brand rival their dedication to quality and consistency.

Description: Durplast (bakelite) was the material used to produce the body of the Trabant small car, manufactured in East Germany until the fall of the Berlin Wall. In other words, it’s strong! With two holes—one for larger pencils and one for standard pencils—this sharpener is all you need.
